The Enemy Laugh: The Cost Of Stupidity 😂

Without wisdom in their hearts, humility in their understanding, or discernment in their judgement, people may find themselves paying a heavy price for their own decisions. When pride becomes greater than understanding, and resentment becomes greater than righteousness, the consequences may extend beyond the individual and affect an entire household, community, or homeland.

But what happens when people reject the truth because it challenges their opinions? What happens when the wisdom of God (YHWH) is placed before them, yet they choose foolishness over understanding, arrogance over humility, and division over peace?

When the consequences begin to emerge, who ultimately pays the price? Is it only the person who makes the mistake, or does the cost of stupidity also fall upon those who follow and defend the same errors?

For it is written: “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.” — 1 Corinthians 3:19

Can human pride ever stand above the wisdom of God (YHWH)? Can personal opinions outweigh the Word of the Almighty? Or must every person examine their own heart before judging another?

The enemy laughs when people become so blinded by pride that they cannot recognise their own mistakes. The enemy laughs when resentment destroys relationships, when foolish decisions create division, and when people reject correction simply because they cannot bear to admit they are wrong.

But Christ Jesus teaches us to examine ourselves before condemning others. For it is written: “Why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?” — Matthew 7:3

How often do people identify the faults of others while refusing to acknowledge their own? How often does pride prevent reconciliation, and how often does stubbornness turn a small disagreement into a lasting conflict?

The cost of stupidity is not merely embarrassment or the loss of opportunities. It can be the destruction of trust, the separation of families, and the abandonment of wisdom that leads people towards righteousness. Yet God (YHWH) offers the opportunity to repent, learn, and choose a better path.

For it is written: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” — James 1:5

Will people seek wisdom when they recognise their mistakes, or will they continue defending their foolishness? Will they humble themselves before God (YHWH), or allow pride to lead them further away from the truth?

The enemy may rejoice when foolishness produces division, but followers of Christ Jesus are called to pursue forgiveness, righteousness, humility, and peace. The purpose of discernment is not to celebrate another person’s downfall, but to recognise error and remain faithful to the Word of God (YHWH).

For it is written: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” — Galatians 6:7

May every household examine itself before the LORD. May every community seek wisdom through the Holy Spirit. May every person distinguish between pride and conviction, stubbornness and strength, and personal opinion and the truth of God (YHWH).

To every individual who refuses correction: will you recognise your mistakes before the consequences become greater? Will you seek wisdom from God (YHWH), or allow pride to determine your future?

For the question remains: when foolishness takes the place of wisdom, who ultimately pays the price? And when the enemy laughs at the division and destruction caused by human error, will people finally recognise the cost of their own decisions?

May God (YHWH) guide our hearts towards wisdom, may the Holy Spirit strengthen our discernment, and may Christ Jesus teach us to walk in truth, humility, and love.
