Thus Declares God (YHWH): Jew Or Gentile

Catholic, Mormon, Baptist, Pentecostal, Anglican, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Orthodox, Seventh-day Adventistโ€”these do not exist as separate spiritual identities before God. There is only Jew or Gentile.

In the world today, countless denominations and religious labels abound. People call themselves Catholic, Mormon, Baptist, Pentecostal, Anglican, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Orthodox, Seventh-day Adventist, Non-denominational, and many more. These titles often become a source of identity, pride, or division. But in the eyes of God, as revealed in the Scriptures, there are only two fundamental categories of humanity: Jew and Gentile.

From Genesis through Revelation, Godโ€™s Word consistently divides people this simple way. Abraham was called to become the father of the Jewish nationโ€”through him came Israel, Godโ€™s covenant people. Everyone else was called the Gentiles, the nations outside of Israel. This is not a human idea; it is a divine distinction: โ€œFor you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.โ€ โ€” Deuteronomy 7:6 (NIV)

But when Jesus the Messiah came, He came to both Jew and Gentile, to reconcile them through His sacrifice on the cross. The apostle Paul wrote: โ€œFor He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.โ€ โ€” Ephesians 2:14 (NIV)

There is no third category called โ€œCatholic,โ€ โ€œMormon,โ€ โ€œBaptist,โ€ โ€œPentecostal,โ€ or any other denomination in Godโ€™s eyes. These are man-made labels. Before the throne of God, every soul stands either as a Jewโ€”descendant of Abraham by bloodโ€”or a Gentileโ€”anyone outside of that lineage. But both are equally in need of salvation, and both are equally offered grace in Christ: โ€œThere is no difference between Jew and Gentileโ€”the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him.โ€ โ€” Romans 10:12 (NIV)

One leads to death; the other to eternal life. As believers, we cannot afford to walk with divided hearts. We must reject the compromise of the world and embrace the refining fire of Godโ€™s (YHWH) Spirit. We must prepare not only to endure but to reign with Christ Jesus โ€” not through status or strength, but through obedience and consecration.

The day will come when every kingdom will fall, and only one will remain โ€” the eternal Kingdom of God (YHWH), ruled in glory by Christ Jesus. Until that day, we are called to stand, to shine, and to overcome. Not by our might, but by the Spirit of God (YHWH). Not for the applause of man, but for the honour of our King.

Through Christ Jesus, we can battle against the kingdom of darkness, walk in holiness, and inherit the everlasting Kingdom of God (YHWH), prepared for those who are faithful and true.
