The story of Daniel in the Lions’ Den is a story that shows just how mighty the power of God (YHWH) is.

When Daniel was thrown into the den for refusing to stop praying to God (YHWH), the LORD (YHWH) sent an angel to shut the mouths of the lions, showing His power over all creation.
Daniel 6:22 says: “My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”
In the Bible, this story shows us that when we remain faithful, God (YHWH) stands with us even in the most dangerous situations. Daniel’s trust in God (YHWH) did not waver, and because of his unwavering faith, he was delivered from harm.
Deuteronomy 31:6 says: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
No matter what challenges we face—whether trials, persecution, or difficulties in life—we can find encouragement in Daniel’s story. God (YHWH) is our protector, our deliverer, and our refuge in times of trouble.
Psalm 18:2 says: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
