The Bible says in Matthew 16:19 – “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”. This means that whatever we ask of Christ Jesus in The Spirit will be granted to us as we live on the Earth; and vice versa.
The Bible instructs us that The Devil is a formidable adversary. In 1 Peter 5:8 – “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”. This verse simple instructs us to be cautious of what he can do; but not have any particular fear of him; as written in 1 John 4:4 – “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
Many of us wish we could live glamorous lives; the same glamour lives we see on the television; or in mainstream media. God (YHWH) knows this; however instructs us not to worry; as written in Matthew 6:25-34 – “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
That is one side of the coin. The other side is that unfortunately, The Devil knows this to. The Devil knows just how much he can tempt us with monetary goods, and things of material value; for a price. We are urged in the scripture to never go to the forces of darkness for anything, and that includes trying to live a more glamorous life.
