Spells, Witchcraft, and everything similar sadly exists in today’s 21st Century World.
Since Biblical Times, Sorcerers were known to enspell anybody they could get their hands on, as a form of deception; whilst trying to mimic the power of God (YHWH).
When Moses; one of God’s (YHWH) revered Prophets confronts Pharaoh’s Magicians, he had to use God’s (YHWH) power to defeat them. Through this encounter we are able to see that the power of God (YHWH), shown through his staff; was much more powerful than Pharaoh’s Magician’s spell; a foul deception.
Baptism is one way we can battle sorcery. By being baptised, we are able to be united with Christ Jesus, and given a spiritual mark on our body that means we no belong to God (YHWH). No sorcery, no spell, can ever change that. Once united with Christ Jesus, we can never be separated; no matter what any sorcerer, or magician tries to do.
Through Christ Jesus we are able to know that by his blood and through being born of water and the spirit; we can overcome any spell, or sorcery that comes against us.
