In the Bible; God (YHWH) made a covenant with Abraham in order to make him a great nation. God (YHWH) said he would make him: A Great Nation, give him Land of Canaan (Promised Land), give him Numerous Descendants, a Blessing to All Nations, an Everlasting Covenant, and Kings will come from Abraham
In the 21st Century; and even since Biblical Times we have had to battle evil. The devices of evil are very different to the devices of God (YHWH); and by this difference we are able to see how God (YHWH) will triumph against any force of evil; time and time again.
The forces of evil are not an unlimited force; however the forces of God (YHWH). God (YHWH) has his own tools and devices he uses; in order to bring about his kingdom; that the forces of evil have tried to counterfeit; in order to bring about their deception.
Through Christ Jesus; we can rely on using God (YHWH) tools and power; instead of resorting to the forces of evil; in order to do battle against the kingdom of darkness.
