Let’s be honest now. Punishment exists for those that continue in sin. The Bible says that we inherit the sins of our parents.
When we continue in sin, we are turning away from God (YHWH) and continuing with the schemes of The Devil.
When Abraham was asked by God (YHWH) to sacrifice Isaac (his first born) on the Altar; he was ready to do it.
Through this, we are able to see the how the first born son is set apart from the rest of the children; showing exactly just how sanctified the person is.
A Bastard on the other hand; in Biblical Times, is someone who is fathered by The Devil, the exact opposite of what it means to be the first born son; with behaviours that are in the same likeness of The Devil himself.
This word is sometimes misused for children that are born outside of a common-law marriage; or a marriage that exists as a legal entity.
Through Christ Jesus, we can hope to turn away from our sin, and inherit the treasures God (YHWH) has for us in his Heavenly Kingdom.
As faithful believers we can be rest assured that those who continue in sin, will receive their eternal punishment; or even loss of reward, upon entry into God’s (YHWH) Kingdom.
Double sin, double punishment.
